Special Education Needs
Statement
Consistent with our school aims, whereby each pupil has access to a broad and balanced curriculum, and is valued and encouraged to reach his/her full potential, we believe that we will be able to make provision for pupils with special needs in line with the stages of the Code of Practice. The provision together with pupil progress will be monitored and reviewed. We consider the partnership with parents will make a valuable contribution to the progress of each pupil.
Educational Themes
ICT, Health Education and EMU
At Ballykeigle Primary School ICT is an integral part of our daily classroom routines. We develop Health Education through Science and operate a popular healthy eating option for pupils. With a wide range of sports on offer for children we also participate in Education for Mutual Understanding (EMU).
